As part of Coca Cola’s global World Cup campaign, we followed the FIFA Cup trophy as it traveled around the globe. We created five films in five countries, focusing on different communities showcasing how football has shaped and changed lives.

These five stories follow an eclectic mix of people across the globe and their fascinating individual stories.

We see young blind teenagers who grew up in the communities of Rio de Janeiro, where playing football has given them new opportunities for life, now traveling the world to represent their country.

We meet the grannies from Limpopo in South Africa who have found new meaning to their lives and gained health benefits from playing together.

In Berlin we meet a former criminal who after leaving prison focused all his energy on football and changed his life forever.

In the streets of Myanmar, we observe how football has influenced lives of all ages there.

We meet the unsung local heroes who maintain the stadium and player’s health in Quito, Ecuador.

All the films were unscripted and we adapted into many formats and lengths for the global Coca Cola infrastructure.
